kevin teng: climate & Sustainabiity
Kevin Teng is a climate investor and sustainability expert with over 20 years of experience leading Fortune 500 engineering, development and sustainability teams. He has managed a single-family investment firm (Terrasys Innovation Ventures) for 3 years that funds and champions early-stage businesses with a positive environmental impact, focusing on alternative proteins, energy efficiency, and circular economy products.
Formerly Executive Director at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Mr. Teng led the corporate sustainability and energy portfolio for 15 years, driving their resource policy and operations to achieve a 34% reduction in carbon and water footprints, as well as a 65% improvement in recycling and waste diversion. He has also held senior executive positions as the Chief Engineer and Head of Development at Marina Bay Sands that involved managing the property’s facilities management and constructing US$200M of renovation upgrade projects.
Mr. Teng has an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BS in Engineering from Duke University. He is a Fellow with the Aspen Institute, a former US-China Fulbright Scholar, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He enjoys hiking, swimming and jiu-jitsu in his free time, and splits time between Santa Monica and Singapore with this wife, three children and dog.
adam falkoff: finance and contributions
Adam Falkoff has over 20 years of experience in public policy, international relations, and business development. He has advised CEOs of the Fortune 100, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Cabinet Ministers and Ambassadors as President of CapitalKeys, a bipartisan global public policy and strategic consulting firm based in Washington D.C. with offices in London and Singapore. While leading the firm, he successfully helps clientele understand, anticipate, and navigate the complex international public policy environment as well as develop strategies and relationships for business development driving client revenues.
Prior to CapitalKeys, Mr. Falkoff was a Director and the co-founder of the Quinn Gillespie & Associates (QGA) International Practice, a public policy firm in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining QGA, Mr. Falkoff served as the Vice President of Government Affairs focusing on international issues for The Gilman Group with Ben Gilman, former Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Before joining The Gilman Group, Mr. Falkoff served as the Senior Director of Government Affairs for the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), working with the Congress and the Administration on behalf of over 2,000 technology corporations. Prior to CTA, he served in the United States Senate for U.S. Senator Alfonse D'Amato as his White House Liaison.
